Abstract
⺠53 European companies' sustainability reports were analysed. ⺠Each report was analysed on the inter-linking indicators' coverage and performance. ⺠The coverage and performance of the indicators is fairly congruent, but the latter is usually lower. ⺠Although not demanded by the GRI guidelines, companies are reporting on inter-linked issues. ⺠Sustainability reporting guidelines must be updated to be more holistic in theory and praxis.
