Abstract
⺠Enzymatic bleaching of cotton knitted fabric was done by using glucose oxidase and compared with conventional bleaching. ⺠Hydrogen peroxide was produced by glucose oxidase which is a good alternative of commercially available hydrogen peroxide. ⺠In terms of whiteness, tensile strength and tear strength, the enzymatic bleaching technique was found better.
