Abstract
⺠Real-time monitoring of 20 detached households with plumbed rainwater tanks. ⺠Rainwater consumption and corresponding pumping energy requirements evaluated. ⺠Monitoring and assessment methodologies are discussed in detail. ⺠Volumetric reliabilities and diurnal water demand patterns of the tanks assessed. ⺠Techniques adopted provide significant insight for planners and policy makers.
