Abstract
⺠Water network retrofit by estimating both economic and environmental impacts. ⺠The environmental objective function is the environmental sustainability index. ⺠The economic objective function is the total cost of the water network. ⺠In the packaging area the benchmark cannot be reached only by process integration. ⺠In the production area the water consumption can be reduced below the benchmark.
