Abstract
⺠The attribution of the meanings 'natural' and 'high-quality' to materials is explored in reflection to bio-plastics. ⺠There appear more contradictory aspects than congruent aspects when evoking these two meanings. ⺠Imposition of new aesthetic values for bio-plastics is proposed.
