Abstract
⺠Utilization of waste cockle shells as a new source for CaO synthesis. ⺠XRD and XRF analysis shown that cockle shell contains aragonite. âºÂ Aragonite is a source of CaCO3 that has the potential to be converted to CaO. ⺠Particle size, heating rate and temperature influence the calcinations process. ⺠Calcium oxide is a potential source to store CO2.
