Abstract
⺠Environmental impacts of animal-mixed and vegetarian feeds were studied via LCA. ⺠Five options to improve environmental performance of the feeds were proposed. ⺠Vegetarian feeds showed higher impacts than animal-mixed feeds. ⺠More than 60% of feed impacts came from energy-rich and protein-rich ingredients. ⺠Maize drying process and crop plantations were the main impact causes.
