Abstract
⺠Two new waste indicators are introduced in the analysis of waste management patterns. ⺠A multi-scale analysis of DWD is carried out within Italy as well as Campania region. ⺠The DWD enriches the information provided by conventional waste indicators. ⺠The multi-scale analysis of Campania brings out a relevant territorial heterogeneity. ⺠The study shows the limitations of mono-scale solutions to waste management crises.
