Abstract
⺠Glycerol fluid leads to very good results regarding tool wear and surface quality. ⺠Similar or better process behaviour as conventional mineral oil based MWF. ⺠The glycerol fluid is stable against thermal decomposition in technical application. ⺠Full corrosion protection was achieved by slight additive enhancement of the fluid.
