Abstract
⺠We apply SFA to study sulfur metabolism in a Chinese fine chemical industrial park. ⺠S inputs totaled 120,749 t in 2007, of which S for H2SO4 production accounted for 81%. ⺠S outputs: 28.8% in solid waste, 5.2% in sewage, 1% in flue gas, 65% in products. ⺠High-yield synthetic tech & used H2SO4 recovery are vital to improve S efficiency.
