Abstract
Experiments on bitumite combustion were carried out by simultaneous TG/FTIR dynamic runs under different atmosphere. Along with the reduction of oxygen concentration, the burnout temperature shifted to higher temperature and the combustion of coal became harder, while the activation energy of bitumite combustion decreases. The emission of reducing gas (CO, CH4) was abundant between 330 °C and 690 °C.237
