Abstract
The environmental impact of the investigated crop systems is presented by means of six impact categories: global warming potential (GWP 100Â years), acidification potential (AP), eutrophication potential (EP), ozone depletion potential (ODP) and abiotic depletion potential (ADP-fossils). Barley, potato, and wheat crop presented the highest impact. Lower GHG emissions were obtained for wheat and maize crop systems compared to the reported emissions in the Renewable Energy Directive (RED).
