Abstract
âºA new permeability prediction model for a coalbed methane reservoir is proposed. âºThe model basis is volumetric balance between bulk and solid coal and pores. âºModel uses constant volume theory. âºResults suggest good agreement with predicted permeability using existing models. âºThe model is simple. All input parameters are easily measurable.
