Abstract
⺠Main coal development occurs in a estuary-lagoonal setting in a TST sequence. ⺠Vitrinite reflectances are indicative of subbituminous rank (Rrandom = 0.36-0.47%). ⺠Maceral composition is highly variable. ⺠The coals are ash-rich, ranging from 22.4 to 62.3% wt.%.
