Abstract
The cement sheath of CO2 storage and injection wells is easily carbonized. Therefore, the carbonation resistance properties of it have higher requirements. We found that the ÎG0T decreases with the C/S of hydration products. In this work, a novel additive ACA was used to improve cement carbonation resistance properties by decreasing permeability, CH and C/S of hydration products. The experimental results obtained indicated that mixing ACA into cement can increase the compressive strength, significantly decrease original permeability and carbonation depth. It also can decrease CH and high C/S hydration products. Moreover, the addition of ACA results in the remarkably weakens the leaching and dissolution effect.
