Abstract
⺠Horizontal well equipped with Inflow Control Devices is considered. ⺠Equation describing pressure distribution in such a well is formulated. ⺠Approximate analytical and precise numerical solutions are presented and compared. ⺠Expression for the heel-toe effect is derived from the analytical solution. ⺠The practical utility of the work is illustrated using published Troll oil field data.
