Abstract
⺠The large CTA light-collecting area enables also optical astronomy. ⺠Kilometer-scale optical interferometry resolves stellar surfaces. ⺠Telescopes connect only through electronic signals, insensitive to atmospheric turbulence or telescopic imperfections. ⺠Stellar observations are not limited by moonlight.
