Abstract
⺠The CIPS instrument provide a unique space-based perspective of PMC structures. ⺠We present the first classification of PMC structures as seen from space. ⺠Main types of structures observed are Veils, Bands, and Whirls. ⺠Other identified structures are termed 'ice voids', 'ice rings' and PMC 'fronts'. ⺠These structures are similar to those seen in airglow images and tropospheric clouds.
