Abstract
⺠We used the IBS and GMV-IDAT algorithm to compare EPBs detection results. ⺠We used 6 IGS stations located close to the magnetic equator distributed worldwide. ⺠Both algorithms present similar results representing EPB characteristics. ⺠The EPBs detected by IBS are longer and deeper while GMV-IDAT detects more EPBs.
