Abstract
► We studied the behavior of the OI 630 and 557.7 nm nightglow during magnetic storms. ► The OI 630 and 557.7 nm emissions were similar in shape and synchronous. ► At the same time these two emissions were correlated with the TEC. ► The 557.7 nm disturbances may result from the O2+ dissociative recombination. ► The ratio of V557.7/V630 may vary during magnetic storms at mid-latitudes.
