Abstract
⺠Surge propagated at poleward boundary of aurora zone. ⺠Surge is an auroral manifestation of the bi-directional flow at the outer boundary of the inner magnetosphere. ⺠Bi-directional flow at the outer boundary is the “external stimulus” for the cavity oscillations.
