Abstract
⺠We study high resolution surface elevation models of Ganymede. ⺠We review the local geology. ⺠We discuss radar wave penetration on rough surfaces. ⺠Results raise concerns for the detectability of subsurface features on Ganymede. ⺠Comparison with Mars radargrams are in agreement with this study.
