Abstract
► We study high resolution surface elevation models of Ganymede. ► We review the local geology. ► We discuss radar wave penetration on rough surfaces. ► Results raise concerns for the detectability of subsurface features on Ganymede. ► Comparison with Mars radargrams are in agreement with this study.
