Abstract
⺠Ion sputtering controls regolith grain size at Europa. ⺠H2O sputtering rate map calculated for first time. ⺠H2O and O2 sputtering rate maps are completely different. ⺠Galileo NIMS data reveals 1 mm regolith grains at trailing hemisphere apex.
