Abstract
⺠A new map of periglacial landforms and a putative ice-dust mantle in Utopia Planitia. ⺠Relative stratigraphy of the landforms using MOLA tracks superposed on the HiRISE-CTX images. ⺠Evidence that the periglacial landforms are older than the putative mantle and do not form from it. ⺠This contradicts the dominant paradigm of landscape evolution in the region.
