Abstract
► A new map of periglacial landforms and a putative ice-dust mantle in Utopia Planitia. ► Relative stratigraphy of the landforms using MOLA tracks superposed on the HiRISE-CTX images. ► Evidence that the periglacial landforms are older than the putative mantle and do not form from it. ► This contradicts the dominant paradigm of landscape evolution in the region.
