Abstract
⺠The medium resolution spectrum of comet C/2009 R1 (McNaught) is presented. ⺠The spectrum covers the wavelength region of 4140-5240 Ã
. ⺠The extremely low continuum level and strong molecular features are the main characteristics of the observed spectrum. ⺠192 Emission lines of C2, CN, CH, NH2, CO+, and CH+ were identified.
