Abstract
Nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal K3B6O10Br with the size of 27Ã29 Ã14 mm3 was successfully grown by top seeded solution growth (TSSG) technique. Its second harmonic generation (SHG) coefficients were determined by Maker fringe method as: d22=1.23±0.01 pm/V and d33=0.43±0.01 pm/V. Its linear electro-optical (EO) coefficient γ22=0.81±0.06 pm/V, which is usually employed in transverse modulation, was measured with polarimetric method.
