Abstract
In the field of magnonics it is of great interest to excite spin waves with high k-vectors. However, to do this using conventional methods, such as the electrical excitation with coplanar wave guides, can be quite difficult, due to challenges in the fabrication of the necessary structures and impedance mismatching. In this paper we present simulation of a novel technique to generate spin waves via the excitation of the magnetization in an array of magnetic strips and show that we acquire high k-vectors depending on the dimensions of the strip array.
