Abstract
The phase diagrams and the magnetic properties of the Ising nanotube with ferromagnetic exchange interfacial coupling between the core and the shell are investigated by using an effective field theory based on a probability distribution method that accounts for the self-spin correlations. The effects of the interfacial coupling and the trimodal longitudinal field on the critical behaviors of the system are examined. It has been found that the system exhibits first-order phase transition, tricritical point and re-entrant or double re-entrant phenomenon.
