Abstract
► In this paper, Sr(MnTi)xFe12-2xO19 particles were obtained by aqueous combustion synthesis.► X-ray diffraction indicated that M-type hexagonal phases exist in Sr-ferrites annealed at 1000°C / 2 hr.► The saturation magnetization was found to greatly increase from SrFe12O19 ferrite to Sr(MnTi)0.5Fe11O19 ferrite.► The microwave absorption of Sr(MnTi)XFe12-2XO19, exhibiting at frequencies between 18.0 GHz and 40.0 GHz.
