Abstract
⺠Li-substituted perovskites La1âxLixMnO3 were successfully prepared by the usual ceramic method. ⺠Increasing lithium doping level enhances the resistivity. ⺠Metal-insulator transition temperature TMI shifts to lower values as fraction of Li increases. âºThese manganites (xâ¤0.10) show constant magnetoresistance MR=50% (H=0.5 T) over a wide temperature range, which is very beneficial for practical applications.
