Abstract
► Sm2O3/α-Fe/Sm2Fe17Nx was firstly prepared in situ by HDDR and nitrogen process. ► Sm2O3/α-Fe/Sm2Fe17Nx was used as a new type of EM wave absorber in high frequency. ► Sm2O3/α-Fe/Sm2Fe17Nx exhibits a good impedance matching and thickness of absorber.
