Abstract
► We have investigated the half-metallicity of Fe2Co1−xCrxSi Heusler alloys by first-principles calculations. ► We adjust the doping level x in Fe2Co1−xCrxSi to move Fermi level from the top of valence band to the bottom of conduction band. ► Saturation magnetic moments of the samples follow half-metallic Slater-Pauling rule. ► The anisotropic magnetoresistance of Fe2Co1−xCrxSi shows a negative value suggesting the half-metallic property.
