Abstract
⺠We have investigated the half-metallicity of Fe2Co1âxCrxSi Heusler alloys by first-principles calculations. ⺠We adjust the doping level x in Fe2Co1âxCrxSi to move Fermi level from the top of valence band to the bottom of conduction band. ⺠Saturation magnetic moments of the samples follow half-metallic Slater-Pauling rule. ⺠The anisotropic magnetoresistance of Fe2Co1âxCrxSi shows a negative value suggesting the half-metallic property.
