Abstract
► In the highly cold-drawn 316L fiber the content of α′ increases when heated to 460 °C. ► TMA heating curve shows a retarded α′→γ transformation around 625 °C. ► The re-magnetization beyond ∼760 °C is due to the formation of a small amount of α. ► During cooling the Ms temperature decreases with the increase in true strain of the fibers.
