Abstract
⺠Mixed spin-1/2 and spin-3/2 BC model with random crystal field was investigated. ⺠Effective-field theory with correlations was used in obtaining the critical temperatures. ⺠The phase diagrams of the model were shown for various planes. ⺠Randomness of the crystal field leads to emergence the compensation temperatures. ⺠It was found that the model exhibits only second-order phase transitions.
