Abstract
⺠Au-particles in assemblies of Co-particles increase the local anisotropy. ⺠A high Au-content results in increased granular giant magnetoresistive response. ⺠Increased coercive fields and lower magnetic susceptibilities were found. ⺠The alteration of the magnetic properties was described numerically.
