Abstract
⺠Interlayer coupling between Pt/Co multilayer separated by thin IrMn film is studied. ⺠Coupling is ferromagnetic at low thickness of IrMn (between 0.6 and 1.2 nm). ⺠Coupling vanishes between the blocking and the Néel temperature of IrMn. ⺠We model the coupling by considering a tilt of the interfacial IrMn spins. ⺠Non-oscillatory coupling is attributed to the compensated spin structure of IrMn.
