Abstract
Group velocity and slow down factor are discussed by adjusting the transverse magnetic field in the presence or absence of spin-orbit interaction SOI. The transparency window of the probe light can be changed due to presence of SOI. Moreover, the transparency window of the probe light becomes large by enhancing the value of transverse magnetic field. Our proposed model is may be useful for construction of optical buffer based on carbon nano-tube (CNT) quantum dot nanostructure controlled by magnetic field.
