Abstract
The diffusion kinetic studies of Pd into two Ti-rich TiNi alloys- Ti50.2Ni49 and Ti53Ni47-showed that, Pd diffuses more rapidly into Ti50.2Ni49.8. Lower diffusivity of Pd in Ti53Ni47 was related to the high volume fraction of Ti2Ni particles and low solubility of Pd in Ti2Ni. Also, it was attributed to the different dominant diffusion mechanisms in two systems.221
