Abstract
⺠Skyrmion rows and filled phase slip lines can be energetically preferred over vortex rows. ⺠The regime of interaction strength is found where skyrmion rows are formed. ⺠With strong interactions, larger shear velocities favour skyrmion rows over vortices.
