Abstract
⺠In this study we use q-deformed algebra to study the high temperature superconductors. ⺠The tight binding model has been used to study the phase diagram and the specific heat of the cuprates. ⺠The phase diagram demonstrates the well-known hump-like behavior for q > 1. ⺠The effect of correlation due to q is evident from the chemical potential and the phase diagrams.
