Abstract

The photo and thermal curing reactions between glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) and diglycidylether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) in the presence of Diels–Alder adduct of rosin acids (RAMA) were investigated using differential scanning photocalorimetry (DPC) and non-isothermal differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements using iso-conversion method. The presence of the epoxy ring and double bond in these systems confers the possibilities to obtain the thermosetting products via sequential photo and thermal crosslinking. The kinetic parameters and thermal stability of the crosslinked products were evaluated by the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) measurement, using of “Thermokinetics-3” software (Netzsch), each systems being well described by a three-step kinetic model with consecutive reactions.
