Abstract
⺠Near-surface measurement of residual stress with neutron diffraction. ⺠Effect of variation of peak diffraction positions if the gauge volume is partially immersed in a sample. ⺠Correction of the peak position on the pseudostrain effect. ⺠Reductive analytical approach to account for the pseudostrain effect in a thin-walled sample was developed. ⺠Correction of the pseudostrain effects into experimental data of Spooner and Wang [2] was perfect.
