Abstract
⺠We present the design and construction of a molten lithium target station for the production of 6He. ⺠The measured extracted 6He intensities in a low-background experimental area amount to 109 atoms/s. ⺠A rich program of fundamental physics experiments will be pursued in the future at this target station.
