Abstract
Some new physics models, such as “beautiful mirrors” scenario, predict the existence of the bottom partner Bâ². Considering the constraints from the data for the Zâbb¯ branching ratio Rb and the FB asymmetry AFBb on the relevant free parameters, we calculate the contributions of Bâ² to the cross section Ï(Zb) and the Z polarization asymmetry AZ for Zb production at the LHC. We find that the bottom partner Bâ² can generate significant corrections to Ï(Zb) and AZ, which might be detected in near future.
