Long-term behavior of PC beams externally plated with prestressed FRP systems: A mechanical model

In this paper the authors present a mechanical model capable of predicting the long term behavior of PC beams externally plated with prestressed FRP laminates, starting from the rheological properties of composites. It is based on a mechanical approach that assumes there is a perfect adhesion between concrete core and external reinforcement.
