Abstract
We have searched for lepton-flavor-violating Ï decays with a pseudoscalar meson (η, ηⲠand Ï0) using a data sample of 401 fbâ1 collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+eâ collider. No evidence for these decays is found and we set the following upper limits on the branching fractions: B(Ïââeâη)<9.2Ã10â8, B(Ïââμâη)<6.5Ã10â8, B(Ïââeâηâ²)<1.6Ã10â7, B(Ïââμâηâ²)<1.3Ã10â7, B(ÏââeâÏ0)<8.0Ã10â8 and B(ÏââμâÏ0)<1.2Ã10â7 at the 90% confidence level. These results improve our previously published upper limits by factors from 2.3 to 6.3.
