Abstract
⺠We generalize Caldeira and Leggett results for a discrete spectrum reservoir. ⺠Time evolution consists of recurrence cycles. ⺠Revivals appear due to reverse transitions. ⺠Standard exponential decay takes place within the initial cycle. ⺠Basic ideas can be applied to nano-systems.
