Abstract
⺠A periodic intervention may be beneficial when controlling chaos by prediction-based control. ⺠The cost and strength of control is reduced with periodic interventions. ⺠Predictive control may induce an Allee effect, but periodic control succeeds in preventing it. ⺠A new dynamic Parrondoʼs paradox naturally arises.
