Abstract
⺠Energy of spherical quantum dots depends on the spin-orbit interaction strength in external electric and magnetic fields. ⺠Spin-orbit interaction shifts the energy levels. ⺠Electron g-factor differs from the bulk value in spherical quantum dots due to the confinement effects. ⺠Electron g-factor strongly depends on the spin-orbit interaction strength in external electric and magnetic fields.
