Abstract
⺠We report the fabrication and optical properties of rod-type photonic crystal. ⺠The splitter was fabricated by electron beam lithography and dry-etching techniques. ⺠The splitter was composed of directional waveguide couplers. ⺠Measured transmission spectra are in agreement with theoretical calculations. ⺠The splitters can be used in visible light region.
